I hope everyone is doing great this evening!
So today’s post is technically Christmas themed… but… we’re just going to roll with it because it’s a fun one and it can pass as an all year round tag.
I was tagged by the lovely Jessica to do this back in December, you can check out her post here: https://readingwithjessica.wordpress.com/2017/12/24/bookish-naughty-or-nice-tag/. This tag was originally created by Jenn and you can check out her post here: https://jenniely.com/bookish-naughty-list-tag-blogmas/.
I hope you enjoy,

1.) Received an ARC and not reviewed it
This only relates to the ARC’s I’m yet to read, but I am planning on reviewing them. There’s only been one book that I wouldn’t review on my blog due to its content, but I contacted the publisher about this.
2.) Have less than 60% feedback rating on Netgalley
When I first signed up to Netgalley I went request mad. I’m still paying for my rookie error nearly a year later! My feedback rating is currently only 18%, but I do have 3 reviews due to go up on there soon – yikes!
3.) Rated a book on GoodReads and promised a full review was to come on your blog (and never did) ❌
I only post my reviews on Goodreads after I’ve published my review on my blog.
4.) Folded down the page of a book
I always do this – sorry not sorry!
5.) Accidentally spilled on a book
6.) DNF a book this year
I DNF two books so far this year. The one I mentioned above due to its content, and another I was struggling to get into. I knew if I continued reading it I’d put myself into a reading slump so I DNF it.
7.) Bought a book purely because it was pretty with no intention of reading it ❌
Don’t get me wrong if a book looks pretty, I’m instantly drawn to it, but I don’t buy books purely for their cover. I often buy books and they sit on my shelf unread for months, but I always intend on reading them.
8.) Read whilst you were meant to be doing something else (like homework) ✔
All the time!
9.) Skim read a book ✔
Many times, especially when I was in Uni or if I want to get the gist of a book I’m not enjoying very much – oops!
10.) Completely missed your GoodReads goal
I only joined Goodreads in July last year and I set my goal pretty high considering I only had half a year to complete it. I’m doing much better this year though!
11.) Borrowed a book and not returned it ✔
I have done this, but not deliberately. I’ve ended up finding friend’s books a few years after borrowing them and the friends have just told me to keep the books lol.
12.) Broke a book buying ban ✔
Yup. I did this a few weeks ago, I was doing so well too, but the books were so cheap. I couldn’t leave them there for that price!
13.) Started a review, left it for ages then forgot what the book was about ❌
I usually write the review after I’ve finished the book roughly on a piece of paper to avoid forgetting the plot. Sometimes I’ll not write up the review on my blog for a while later, but I’ve never forgotten what a book was about.
14.) Wrote in a book you were reading ✔
Yes, mainly with books I bought for my courses when I was in Uni and school. I found it easier to highlight or underline the quotes or sections I needed for essays.
15.) Finished a book and not added it to your GoodReads ❌
I enjoy looking back on the books I’ve read so I always add them to my Goodreads read list.
11 ticks.. I’m firmly on the naughty list!
