7 Deadly Sins Book Tag:
What is The Most Expensive Book You Own?
Probably The Norton Anthology of Poetry that I had to buy when I was in University. It was around £30.
What Book(s) Have You Shamelessly Devoured Many Times?
Lord Loss by Darren Shan, the Harry Potter series by J.K. Rowling and pretty much every Roald Dahl book. Although Charlie and the Chocolate Factory and The BFG are my most read out of all of his books.
What Book/Series Have You Neglected Over Sheer Laziness?
Gah there’s so many here. I wouldn’t say through laziness, but rather a really hectic reading schedule. Can I say the majority of my bookshelf here?
*hides behind the mountain of unread books*
What Books(s) Do You Bring Up When You Want To Sound Like An Intelligent Reader?
I don’t try to come across as an intelligent reader as I do enjoy an easy going read the majority of the time. I’d probably say the classics I’ve read like Jane Eyre, Dracula and Wuthering Heights?
What Attributes Do You Find Most Attractive In Characters?
A character that isn’t perfect. A lovable rogue so to speak. One that has its flaws but is lovely and makes you root for them throughout. Also any humorous and witty characters are usually my favourites too.
What Books Would You Most Like To Receive As a Gift?
Ooo, this is a tough one. Probably the collection of Baby pink leather bound Jane Austen books. They’re so dreamy to look at! 😍
What Author(s) Do You Have a Love/Hate Relationship With?
Okay okay, don’t hate me for this, but J.K. Rowling. I absolutely love the Harry Potter series, like most people, but I do have an issue with all of the other things related to the story that have been released in recent years. Such as Harry and Ginny’s relationship coming into question and The Cursed Child.
I know this is a massively unpopular opinion, but I was so happy with the ending of the series and I think it was perfect as it was. I know many people want to lap up more and more about the Wizarding universe, but for me anything to do with Harry Potter himself ended with a The Deathly Hallows.
I like anything to do with other parts of the Wizarding world, but I don’t like the thought of messing with the finished Harry Potter story, this was why I really didn’t enjoy The Cursed Child very much.
