2020 Goals // Mid-Year Update

uzrGqccO (1)

Hi everyone,

I hope you’re all doing well!

It’s that time of year again where I check in with the goals I set myself at the start of the year and see whether or not I’ve achieved any so far in 2020. I’m a bit late posting this, but better late than not at all!

If this is the first time you’re reading one of my goal posts, you may think that two or three goals for the year is suffice. For me personally, I like setting a big list of goals for myself, some small and some big, to look back on at the end of the year. It’s nice to see how far I’ve come throughout the year and what goals I need to focus on more in the following year.

2020 has been a little different and there are some goals I would have completed if COVID hadn’t happened, mainly the travelling and driving goals. But it’s okay, there’s time to travel and finally pass my driving test in the future. I’m a firm believer in everything happening at the right time.

Hope you enjoy this post, don’t forget to let me know what goals you set yourself for 2020 in the comments and whether or not you’ve stuck to them! 🙂

So I haven’t quite completed as many goals as I would have liked to so far this year, but given everything that’s going on in the world, I’m pretty proud of everything that I’ve achieved so far!

As for the dog… meet Obi! He was found on the streets of Hungary as a puppy and put into a kill shelter. He was then rescued from the kill shelter in by an animal charity called Wags N Wet Noses. We adopted him in January and picked him up after his long journey to the UK on Valentine’s Day. He’s come on leaps and bounds in the last 5 months and I love him so much!

Given everything he’s gone through, he such a loving and friendly dog. He’s picked up commands quickly and apart from eating his way through a few dog beds and a brand new copy of Loveless by Alice Oseman, he’s a good boy!

How many goals have you achieved so far in 2020?

    Obi is so cute!
You’re doing great with your goals Ash 🙂 I know that a lot of my goals have gone out the window now and I won’t have a chance to do them until next year probably.

Wow! Those are great goals! One of my goals for the second half of the year is to spend less time on social media but be more productive when I actually do. Good luck with the rest of the year!

  3. Mae Polzine says:

Cute puppy! Yeah, I feel like a lot of my goals got a little sidetracked this year by the state of the world. But in other regards it’s allowed me to re-evaluate a lot of things in a good way. Looks like you’ve done good on your goals so far!

Your dog just sounds precious 😍
I’ve achieved more of my goals than expected, but most of the ones that fell short were because of Covid. We had no idea what was going to happen at the start of the year…

An interesting discussion is price comment. I believe that you must write more on this matter, it won’t be a taboo subject but typically persons are not sufficient to talk on such topics. To the next. Cheers

omg- not the book! My female does chew a little at books, when i’m reading them sometimes.. but of course I don’t let her -and she never ate a whole book xd

Most of my goals involved getting out more and be around people so erh.. it kind of messed me up aswell 🤣 Given it all, you did pretty good so far! xx

Hello Obi! He’s gorgeous, and it’s so lovely that you chose to adopt a rescue pup 🙂 you’re actually doing amazingly with your goals all things considered, so you should definitely be proud of all the things you have achieved! There’s still plenty of time to smash a few more, and the ones you don’t can wait 🙂

I have to agree with you whole heartedly, you are doing great with your goals with everything that is going on. I know a lot of my personal goals are impossible currently and will need to be shifted to the future. Also, side note, Obie is so adorable!
