August and September Book Haul

Hi guys,

I hope you’re all well.

I’ve decided to begin a monthly book haul post to my blog. I’ve seen so many people do shopping hauls for clothes and make-up etc, but hadn’t even thought about a book haul until I saw my friend Danielle’s, you can check out her post here: 🙂

I was going to do August and September as separate posts, but I only have a few for September, so I’ve combined the both.

This post will include physical copies, e-books and any ARC’s I received.

I hope you enjoy,

ash x

Physical copies:

As you may have seen from previous posts, I’ve been so excited for this book. I’ve began reading and and I’m enjoying it so far!

I’ve heard great things about Sophie Kinsella, so when I saw this book for a cheap price in Tesco I had to pick it up to read.

I found this book for a few pounds in a shop called The Works, and loved the sound of it. I recently saw a video that Carrie Hope Fletcher posted on Youtube, talking about this authors new book. She explained that Eva is a brilliant writer, and it’s now made me look forward to reading this book even more. (This is an older book of hers not her newest by the way)

I heard great things about this book so I added it to my TBR. I was then talking to a friend in work about a month ago and she said that she’d recently read it and kindly gave me her copy to borrow. I’m currently on chapter 7 and I’m hooked!

I hadn’t actually heard about this book until I sqw the trailer to the film. Initially I wanted to see the film, but after a bit of research, it seems that the animals weren’t treated well in the making of it so naturally I chose not to see it. I still want to read the book however as I’ve heard it’s a fantastic read – I just hope I don’t cry too much!

I got this book in Tesco. They are doing a really good deal of 2 books for £7. There were a few included that were on my TBR, so I picked them up as a payday treat. This was one of them!

This book is also another I picked up at Tesco. I’m intrigued by this book, and I know it’s been a firm favourite in the YA book community so I can’t wait to read it. I wanted to watch the film, but I always prefer to read the book first whenever possible!

A few people have recommended this to me, and it sounds rather interesting!

I picked up this book for 99p on sale at Poundstretcher believe it or not! I popped in there for a nose and thought that this sounded quite interesting.

I recently went to Waterstones with a friend and had to pick this up as soon as I saw it. This is the October read for the Great Bloggers Group I am part of and I can’t wait to start reading it!

I’ve heard SO many good things about this book and once I saw it was included in the Waterstones buy one and get one half price I picked it up straight away. I can’t wait to read this.

I recently removed this from my TBR list you can check out that post here: I completely forgot that I purchased it, and on second thoughts decided it was perhaps not a book for me. I think I will give this a go at some point though seeing as it’s on my phone.

I hadn’t thought of that, but I guess it is, I like to read a bit of everything! ☺️ I struggle with reading digitally too, not my favourite thing to do at all, but I want to be an editor so I’m forcing myself to get used to it!

Great haul! Glad I was able to give you some inspiration! 😊 I also refuse to watch A Dog’s Purpose for the same reason. I just can’t support what the directors or whoever did. I do hope the book is good though! The Circle is also a movie! I want to read the book first before watching it! Love that cover for They Both Die at the End! I’m so used to seeing the US cover.
