Sarah’s Questions:

Q1: Where would you like to travel to most in the world?
I’d have to say America and Iceland. I’d love to travel America and I really want to see the Northern Lights.

Q2: Are you a sweet or savoury person?
I’m definitely a sweet over savoury kind of person.

Q3: Who do you look up to in your life?
I look up to my Bampi, he was such a brilliant person. I also look up to Roald Dahl and Lady Gaga. Roald Dahl as he was such an inspirational writer, Lady Gaga because I think she’s a brilliant person. She’s not afraid to be herself and I just love what she stands for.

Q4: What inspires you to write?
I usually take inspiration from life. Whether that’s personal experiences, experiences people I know have gone through or just inspiration from the world around me. Good writers also inspire me as I aspire to write as well as they do.

Q5: What movies/TV shows do you recommend?
Movies is a tough one, there’s so many to choose from. I’ll just mention a few random ones that have popped into my head – Spider-Man: Homecoming, The Harry Potter series, Mean Girls, Beauty and the Beast, Tarzan, School of Rock and Step Brothers.

TV Shows – Ru Paul’s Drag Race, Riverdale, Orange is the New Black, Game of Thrones, Are You The One and Black Mirror.

Q6: Where is your chosen place to write?
My settee, although I should be using my study more often.

Q7: What does your dream house look like?

Ooo this is a tough one, I’m not entirely sure. Perhaps something like this?

Q8: What author would you love to collaborate with?
Good question. Definitely Darren Shan, I think he has a brilliant imagination and I enjoy writing dark fiction so he would be the perfect person to collaborate with!

Q9: If you could do over a day, what day would it be?
Probably the Sunday of Download Festival in 2013. It was such an amazing day and I met one of my favourite bands, A Day to Remember (and then sobbed because I was so happy – oh the shame!). It was also the first time I saw them live. In general the whole weekend of the festival was fantastic. Here’s some photos.

Q10: What is your best childhood memory?
When I saw Busted, McFly and V live the same night. They were my three favourite bands at the time and we were sitting three rows from the front. It was one of the best nights.

Q11: What book character would you love to be like?
Arwen from the Lord of the Rings trilogy.

Jordan’s Questions:

Q1: Do you read multiple books at once?
Sometimes I do, sometimes I don’t. I’m currently reading 6 books, but they’re all very different so it’s easy to not get them confused.

Q2: What “required reading” book did you enjoy reading the most in school?
Great question. There are a few, Dracula, Wuthering Heights and The Bell Jar.

Q3: Do you like romance in books?
When it’s not insta-love, yes.

Q4: What’s your Hogwarts house?
Ravenclaw! 😀

Q5: Do you like reading outside?
Yes, especially in the shade when it’s a sunny day – hurry up Summer!

Q6: Do you have any pets?
Yes, I have two cats, one lives with my grandparents and a dwarf hamster.

Q7: What was/is your favourite subject in school?
English Literature and History, which is what I also graduated in at University.

Q8: Do you like to write?
I love to write, but I don’t write often enough anymore.

Q9: How long have you been blogging?
I’ve been blogging since mid July 2017.

Q10: Are you a fast reader?
I can be, it depends on the book. If it’s something I’m enjoying I tend to read it quickly.

Q11: What was the first book that you fell in love with?
Charlie and the Chocolate Factory by Roald Dahl. I always used to ask my mother to read a chapter to me before I went to sleep when I was young.
