My 2018 Reads

Hi everyone,

I hope you’re all having a great day.

Can you believe it’s that time of year again where we discuss all of the books we’ve read this year? I genuinely can’t!

I didn’t read half as much as I wanted to this year, but even so I’m happy with how much I did manage to read. Although my tbr is so long now that I definitely need to read more in 2019 before the pile crushes me. 😅😂

I hope you enjoy, let me know in the comments below if you’ve read any of these books too!

Her’s how many books I’ve read this year at the time of writing this. I know there’s still a few days left of the year where I can get some more reading done, so I may be able to add one or two more to this list:

I know that this number is far lower than the majority of other book bloggers, but considering this has been a rollercoaster of a year, with all of the drama from the editing company, personal matters and some serious reading slumps, I’m quite happy with this 33. At the beginning if 2018 I was originally planning on only having 30 books for my reading challenge, but I didn’t think that was enough of a challenge so I chose 40 instead.

Here are a list of the books I read this year in order of when I read them and the star rating I gave them:

    Hallo, Hallo Ash,

From one girl to another whose had a hard won kind of year, I definitely understand why your celebrating what you’ve accomplished! I would consider [2018] one of the hardest years in recent memories – some of the months, if I hadn’t blogged, I would have forgotten what I did or read completely because my health issues were too intense and too consuming to fully remember which stories I could actually focus on at any given point in time. Yet, there were some really lovely ones I’ve discovered – which is why I need to get working on my End of the Year Survey…

I’ll drop back to see which ones here stood out to you the most but for now I just wanted to give you a hug and say “I definitely get it!”
